Uniforms sparkling, flashing their teeth, |

And as the band plays another festive song, |

I get a sudden notion. |

Maybe the drums that beat so loud, |
 |
And the flutes that pipe so sweet, |
 |
And the fluttering flags, and |
 |
the loud, brassy horns |
 |
