East LA The morning before the Hollywood Christmas Parade, the Santa Ana Winds marches at the East Los Angeles Christmas Parade.
East LA Saxes The saxes make a mighty sound through East LA.
East LA Assistant drum major Anna leads our band.
East LA Baritone Jorge plays his baritone with pride.
Hollywood Colorguard The colorguard leads the Winds into the camera area at the 1999 Hollywood Christmas Parade.
Hollywood Flags The Winds march through Hollywood with the lights shining brightly from above. With such a huge band, we use two drum majors for this parade. You can also see two of our four canons getting ready to surprise the crowd.
Hollywood Brass Inside the band, all the musicians concerntrate hard, making sure everything goes perfectly for the audience.
Hollywood Trumpets A perfect rank of trumpets marches through Hollywood, followed by a rank of our clarinets. Members come as far as 200 miles to perform with the Winds for this prestigious parade shown around the world.
Hollywood Tubas Further down the road, the Hollywood lights still shine on our tuba section.
Loiselle These are some truly dedicated people. The members from Santee, near San Diego, travel hundreds of miles to and from rehersal every Monday! A band mother has generously provided more pictures of the Winds at this address.
South Gate Our flags shine bright as the colorguard marches down the streets of South Gate.
Smiles Despite the dreary rain, our colorguard section still keep their bright smiles ready for a camera!
Percussion Our percussion line warms up before stepping off on the parade route.
Rolling Hills 1999 In competition at Rolling Hills, the band awaits the drum major's whistle to begin the performance. The rainy weather, though a nuisance to our plumes, does not bother us.
Brentwood 1999 During the 1999-2000 season, the Winds are lead by David Badillo, our faithful drum major. Here he guides us through the streets of Brentwood. Mr. Ward stays close by to instruct David.
Trombones Our mighty trombone section leads the way through Brentwood, marching in perfect step.
Instructions Mr. Ward gives last minutes directions to the band before we set out to entertain the audience.
Winter The band shines out in the winter sunlight, warming the hearts of our audience.
Whittier Blvd The Winds marches down Whittier Blvd to the lively tunes of Christmas carols.

Matterhorn The Santa Ana Winds comes marching around mighty Matterhorn Mountain at Disneyland.
Disney 2000 The Winds makes a mighty sound as they play delightful Dixie tunes down Main Street.
Mickey and Friends After marching through Disneyland, the band is allowed to travel through the park and greet some of their favorite Disney characters.
Happy/Grumpy A happy princess meets her Eeyore.
Indio 2000 In Indio, the stormy skies clear up just in time for the Winds to put on our sweepstakes-winning performance.
Indio Canons Still prepared in rain gear, the band enters Indio's competition with our cannons loaded and our horns poised.
Lompoc Group After the parade, the Winds relax on the green lawns of Lompoc waiting for the judges to tally the scores.

Palisades After winning Sweepstakes in Huntington Beach that 4th of July morning, the band continues for a second six-footer trophy in Pacific Palisades.
Nisei 2000 The Santa Ana Winds are honored to play for the Los Angeles Nisei Parade.
